I'm slowly learning Photoshop Elements 6, emphasis on slowly...It's been fun though. Thanks to Karin and Alisha for helping me along the way.

cars
I was looking at some pictures I took this summer and it was bringing back some childhood memories. Every family has things that they do together. In the Sorensen family, our family activites centered around classic cars. My Dad and Grandpa both had hobbies restoring cars. Grandpa was a Ford man: old school original Model As and Ts. Dad is all about making them fast :)
While I was home this summer, one of Dad's friends has a collection of old cars. He borrowed this 1964 Chrysler Imperial from one of his friends and he and I went for a drive. People were looking at this car like it was a spaceship and we could not stop laughing. It was fun! This car was like a boat with wheels.
The red car is my mom's 1970 Cheville SS. It's fast and so much fun! :)

photo album for Linda
Just wanted to share a little book I made for my aunt Linda's birthday. It's a little 6x6 album so she can put pictures of her grandkids inside and Uncle Mike can enjoy it too:) Hope they like it...
The "d" on the front was cut by the Cricut. I cut 4 of them and glued them together. It makes it look like chipboard, I learned this little trick from 2peas.
On the last page, I used one of my favorite stamps. It says: "Life is a great bundle of little things." so true...
I love making mini albums, they're a lot of fun. Just wanted to share it with you in case you're looking for an idea!

First day of school
We officially have a 4th and a 1st grader now. The house is really quiet...Heston doesn't know what to do. It'll be a fun year...busy but fun.
My Grandma goes in for surgery tomorrow. She has a tumor on her colon. The tests came back negative for cancer so we are all hoping and praying it goes well. They have to take part of her colon out too so she'll be in the hospital for a few days. She's 81 and has always been healthy...I think she will do great. She is one of my closest and dearest friends. If you would pray for her, I would appreciate it so much! Thanks!
