the playground
this is a layout I've been working on for a couple of days (5 or 10 minutes here and there to keep my sanity)
Most of these pictures were taken on the last few days of school. Those kids were so excited and out of control...it was so much fun. I've loved looking through my yearbook at all the fun little things they wrote. It makes my heart so happy :)
We are enjoying our summer so far. Lots of swimming, playdates and trying to balance the rest. Braden is getting ready for Scout Camp next week. P&H are doing a Talent Team camp next week. That means I will have a few hours each day next week to myself!!
That's huge! CAN'T WAIT!
My parents were just here for a visit, it was awesome. They came down to watch Paige in her dance recital. She's been in ballet this year and she's loved it. I will post pics and hopefully video soon. I cried like a baby when she was on that stage dancing...makes me miss it so much :)

Squinkies...and they're rare...
This is one of the videos P&H made yesterday. They love their Squinkies :)

another life lesson
An opportunity was presented to me a couple of weeks ago. It was promising and I felt really good about it. A couple of days ago I found out that this opportunity was given to someone else. I felt as if someone kicked me in the stomach...I felt really good about this, why didn't it work out??
I found this article on Positively Positive and it was just what I needed. Maybe reading this could help you too :)

May 2012
I just uploaded a few more fun things from the crazy month of May. Paige received the Presidential Physical Fitness award this year. Way to go Paige!
Paige LOVES crafting. Right now, she likes to make food out of clay :)
Paige and Elaine...these two are 2 peas in a pod. I could see them starting an animal shelter some day...
BFF!
I'm either desperate, crazy or both. I let the kids buy this huge pack of water balloons. They were told that part of the deal was cleaning them up afterwards. They had so much fun :)
Kindergarten graduation!
The program was so cute. I made it through without any tears :)
Daddy and Hes
Momma and Hes
Mrs. L, Hes, Mrs. M! They were awesome teachers!
