Happy Father's Day!

I want to wish my Dad a Happy Father's Day! There's one thing I know for sure, he is one of a kind :) What you see is what you get with him, he doesn't mess around. He has so many great qualities. I'm very thankful for our relationship and I treasure everything I've learned from him and continue to learn.
I love you Dad!

Donald Duck

This kid loves Donald Duck. He found this Donald in California Adventure and was so excited to take him home to AZ. I took a video of him in the hotel room just chatting away with Donald. It was so cute...we couldn't stop laughing because if you know Hes, he's not a chatty kid :)

Heston is 4 (almost 5) and he could ride almost every ride. It was so much fun for all of us to see his excitement over everything there. What a great age for Disneyland! His favorite rides were:

-the "spooky, fun ride that went up and down" (Hollywood Tower Hotel)

-the "ride that took us to space" (Space Mountain)

-and of course Star Tours. (they just opened it back up after re-doing it. We had an early entry pass so we were able to ride it.)

for Mom

my Mom's favorite quote :)

I {heart} MJ & Jessie

So I'm still working on my pages from our Disneyland adventures. I'm almost done. I feel like I have to strike while the iron is hot or it will never get done.

I love everything about Disneyland. (except for the huge crowds) One of the things I was looking forward to seeing this time was the return of Captain EO. I'm so cheesy, I admit it. Loved it!

Another one of my favorites at Disney are the characters. I don't know...after my days of being the Crayola Bunny, I empathize with the people that wear these suits and work hard to make the kids happy.

Outside. In the heat. Without saying a word.

Jessie was my fave character this time. She was so adorable!!

I wanted to wrap my arms around Jessie and tell her (or him, you never know)

'You are awesome! I'll cover for you while you sneak into that building so you can take your head off and get some water.'

San Diego: Part 1 of our CA adventure

We started our California trip in San Diego. Aaron and his brother J ran in the half marathon so we spent a day and a half at Pacific Beach. The weather was beautiful! The kids couldn't wait to get in the water and boogie board. My mom joined us on our trip, we were happy to have her :)

On our way up to Anaheim, we stopped in and saw Matt, Alisha and the kids. They cooked us an awesome dinner complete with a fire and S'mores. The kids love hanging out with their cousins...they didn't want to leave ;) Thanks for having us guys, we'll see you soon!

Heston age 4

I wanted to create a page about Heston at age 4. I remembered doing this layout a couple of years ago. Instead of coming up with something different, I just decided I would use the same template and switch it up just a little bit...

Nothing too crazy but it came together pretty quickly! I like quickly :) I am so in love with the chevron paper!

I put this layout together using this free template from the Shabby Princess blog. They have some cute stuff and you already know how much I love templates, especially cute FREE ones :)

Braden and Paige received the Presidential Fitness Award this year. B is getting to that stage where trying to get a picture out of him is pure torture. You can see how happy he is...Paige was trying her hardest to get a smile out of him :)

To celebrate the last day of school, I stayed up late last night scrapbooking and watching episodes of "The Office" on Netflix. The first 3 seasons were so good! The UK Office is still the best though!

Hooray for SUMMER!!!

Welcome Summer!!

I saw this on a a photography blog. Isn't this adorable?! So bright and summery, full of fun things you can do with your kids this summer.
You can download it here

Tomorrow is the last day of school! It's a day of class parties, pictures, goodbyes and a teacher/staff luncheon I'm putting together for FPAC. I've enjoyed my 2 years but it's time to say goodbye. Bath and Body Works...I love this place. I went here to get all the teachers a little gift. The girl helping me gave me the bags and the ribbon to go with the lotion, awesome! I made the tags before I got the lotions and I was so happy to find these with the bright summer colors. I've included a tag without the love, FPAC in case you need a gift idea for your teachers :)

father/son campout

While I was looking for baby pictures of Paige for that last layout, I came across these pictures of a father/son campout when when Braden was in Kindergarten. I still have that Spiderman shirt he's wearing. I couldn't get rid of it because it was his absolute favorite :)

my little girl

I found some old pictures and thought this template would be fun. Most of these pictures were taken when we still lived in Utah and when we first moved to AZ. I can't believe it's been 7 years since we moved here!

Paige is a fun girl who really enjoys life. I love her outlook on life.

And her laugh :)
