I'm convinced...

that boys are harder to potty train than girls!(It really does depend on the kid but in my experience, Paige was not bad) I'm in the middle of my 3rd go-around with this potty training garbage and I'm so ready to be done! I've been watching my friend's 2 1/2 year old daughter today and she's been newly PT, she's doing great. I was hoping her example would motivate Heston but he walks in and sees her on the potty and tells me, "Neat" and walks away. I've even bought some more toy cars (he LOVES them) but that's not doing the trick. Bottom line? He's not ready. I need to be a little more patient. I will continue talking about it and continue bribing and he'll eventually come around...
We're going to California next weekend for my nephew Ian's baptism. Alisha asked me to give a talk at the baptism, I'm so honored that they asked me!:) It'll be fun!

Happy Birthday Aubree and Alisha

Happy Birthday to my sweet little niece Aubree and my sis-in-law Alisha! One of my goals for 2009 is to send a birthday card to all my neices, nephews, bro and sis-in-laws. Here it is February and I'm already a slacker! I also haven't sent my nephew Ian's card yet so I'd like to give him a late b-day shout out from crazy Aunt Kris and Co.
I love my nieces and nephews so much! Each and every one of them are just the coolest kids. I'm so thankful for them and for my bro and sis-in-laws, they are all so good to me! :)

I really love orange, red and blue...

Thanks for the great ideas on the school papers and projects! I need all the help I can get trying to organize stuff.
I was able to do 2 more digi layouts last night when everyone went to bed. (I love having some quiet time with no interuptions) I used the All Star and A Boy kits from Little Dreamer Designs. I don't see the "A Boy" kit there anymore!:( These were some of my first digi purchases. I love them and have been able to use them a lot...they've been perfect for my boy pages.

this school year is flying...

I have Parent-Teacher conferences today and it made me realize how fast this school year has gone by. I did this layout a couple of weeks ago. I need to put together something for them with their school pictures/papers. I have got to get some of the school keepsakes under control. If you have kids in school, you know exactly what I'm talking about. What to keep, what not to keep... I think that needs to be my next project. Nothing fancy, I just need something that is organized! If you have any ideas, I'd love to hear them!
I hope everyone is surviving the winter! I remember this time of year in Utah very well. You just want the snow to be gone and spring to come! Hang in there!
I wanted to share with you this link to 40 sketches that were on the Creating Keepsakes website this month. I love these sketches, it helps so much!

Love is Entirety

Aaron got back on Wednesday after being in Taiwan on business. He was gone 9 loooonnngg days...those longs trips are hard for me! He brought the kids some DVDs (that haven't been released yet and they were only 50 cents a piece!) and usually he brings back a t-shirt for the kids. On his last trip, he brought back this Hello Kitty shirt for P. In honor of Valentine's Day, I wanted to post it because it cracks us up everytime she wears it. The translation from Chinese to English didn't go over so well...
Happy Valentine's Day!
The top picture is her inviting you to the "gun show" I don't know where she comes up with this stuff...

2008 Year in Review

Just finished up my 2008 Year in Review album. It was so fun and easy to put together. I was starting to feel a little overwhelmed with all the pictures I had and wanted to create something with some highlights of the year.
